Written to be read. Three parts: what you agree to when you play, what we hold about you, and how money works.
Total Badass Inc. operates this website, the Total Badass Inc. roleplay city on FiveM, and the store at store.tbi.city. Contact: tbitechsupport@gmail.com.
You must be 18 or older and hold a legal copy of Grand Theft Auto V. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it. During beta the city is invite-only: you apply, we decide, and access is enforced at the door. After public launch the city is open to everyone, and certain roles — police, EMS and others we announce — stay by application. Access can be withdrawn for breaking the city rules.
To let you in and keep the city running we record the identifiers your game client presents when you connect (your FiveM licence, and where present your Steam, Rockstar and Discord identifiers), your IP address, and the answers you give when you apply. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Steam's, Rockstar's and FiveM's own terms apply to their services; ours apply to ours.
The city rules are part of these terms. In addition: no cheats or injected code; no extracting, decompiling or copying server scripts or assets; no scraping the site or the server; no using the city, its footage or its name commercially without our written agreement; no real-money trading of anything that exists in the city.
You own what you make. A beat made in the Lab, a recording made in the booth, a Cypher take — it's yours. By making it in the city you give Total Badass Inc. a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to play it in the city, store it, broadcast it (including on CSN Radio, on streams and in drone broadcasts) and use it to promote the city. Every other right stays with you, including releasing it or selling it anywhere else. You confirm that what you make is your own original work and doesn't use anyone else's music or recordings without permission. If it does, we can remove it, and you're responsible for it.
Sessions in the city may be recorded and published on Total Badass Inc.'s channels, streams and social accounts. By playing you agree that your character's name, voice and likeness, and any music you perform in the city, may appear in those recordings, in the Chronicle, and on the Founders wall if you're a Founder. Your real name is never published unless you choose to share it in character.
Everything in the store is a cosmetic item, a form of recognition, or priority in the queue. Nothing sold grants an advantage in play. A purchase is a licence to use that content in the city, not ownership of anything, and it isn't transferable. The store runs on Tebex; Tebex's own terms apply to the checkout.
Monthly memberships renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your Tebex account or by writing to us, and you keep the membership to the end of the period you've paid for. Prices can change with 30 days' notice, and a change never applies to a period you've already paid. If you're in the EU or the UK, you may have a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days; digital content delivered immediately at your request is excluded from that right, which is why we ask you to confirm delivery at checkout. While the city is invite-only, queue priority is not active and is not being sold. Memberships bought during beta include it as a benefit that switches on at public launch. Everything else in a membership works from the day you buy it.
Chips, bets and winnings in the city are in-game currency only. They have no cash value, can't be bought with or exchanged for real money, and can't be redeemed for anything outside the city. Players must be 18 or older. Self-exclusion is available on request and is honoured.
The city is a community-run server built on a platform we don't own. We can't guarantee it will always be available, or that it won't change, and the platform's operators can suspend or end it without notice to us or to you. If that happens, we'll refund unused prepaid time where we're able to, and we'll tell you what we know. Beyond that, the city and everything in it are provided as they are, and to the extent the law allows, Total Badass Inc. isn't liable for losses that come from playing in it.
If you believe something in the city, on this site, on CSN Radio or on our channels infringes your copyright, email tbitechsupport@gmail.com with the subject "Copyright notice", a description of the work, where you found it, and how to reach you. We act on valid notices and we tell the person who posted the content. Repeat infringers lose access.
You can stop playing any time. We can suspend or remove an account for breaking these terms or the rules; the appeal route is on the rules page. We can change these terms; when we do, the version number and date at the top change, and continuing to play after that means you accept the new version. If something between us goes wrong, write to us first — most things are fixable in one email.
Total Badass Inc. is not approved, sponsored, or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto V and all related marks are the property of their respective owners.
When you apply: the name or handle, email and answers you send us, the door code if you include one, the versions of the rules, terms and privacy notice you accepted and when, and the IP address and browser the application came from. When you play: the identifiers your game client presents (FiveM licence; Steam, Rockstar and Discord identifiers where present), your IP address, and what your character does in the city — including in-game money movements, messages sent on the in-game phone, in-game purchases, and voice and text used in the city. Gameplay in the city is not private: it is logged so we can run the economy, moderate, and investigate rule breaks, and it may be recorded and published as described above. When you buy: Tebex handles the payment — we never see or store your card details. We receive the transaction reference and what you bought so we can deliver it. When you're on this site: Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps standard connection logs.
Read your application, run the city, deliver what you bought, keep the place safe, and answer you when you write in. We don't sell your details and we don't send marketing to the email you applied with.
The companies that host and serve the city and this site, Tebex for purchases, and Discord if you use our Discord. Staff who moderate the city see what they need to do that. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
Applications: while your account is active and for a period after, so we can handle appeals. Server and moderation logs: on a rolling window, kept longer only while an investigation needs them. Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting rules require. We're setting exact retention periods for each of these and will publish them here when they're fixed; until then, the answer to "do you still have it" is one email away.
Write to tbitechsupport@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting your details usually means giving up access, since we need an identifier to run an account. If you're in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
All sales are final.
If something fails to deliver, or you're charged twice for the same item, contact us within 48 hours and we'll refund it or deliver it — your choice.
Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us results in a permanent ban under standard platform policy. We'd much rather fix it. Write to us first.
Everything sold here is cosmetic, recognition, or priority. Nothing sold here changes how the city plays.
